What is a Rotor Sprinkler? A rotary sprinkler, or rotating sprinkler, is an in-ground sprinkler that rotates due to internal gears, spraying a single stream of water that rotates back and forth or around and around in a pattern (full circle, half circle, quarter circle, etc.). Rotor sprinkler heads are generally used for spray distances of 15 - 100 feet, more commonly 25 - 50 feet.
Rotor sprinklers come in a variety of types and sizes. If you are looking for Hunter Rotors, Rain Bird Rotors, Weathermatic Rotors, Toro Rotors, Virtual Rain Rotors, or K-Rain Rotors, then you have come to the right place. Remember that a rotary sprinkler heighth is measured by how high the rotor pops up once installed in the ground and not by the entire length of the rotor's casing.
