Stop & Waste Installation

Check Stop & Waste flow direction. Installing it backwards will cause it to leak continually.

Test Stop & Waste prior to burying.
*Check for leaks at "tee" and valve.
*Check to see that valve shuts off.

Use teflon tape on all threaded fittings

Use a Stop & Waste cover or cut a notch 4 to 6 inches in drain pipe to slip over the valve to keep dirt out.

CAUTION
When cutting the service to the house to install the Stop & Waste, remove 1/2" to 3/4" section of service line only. Removing more may cause problems with fit and leakage.
