Wire Connections

1- Locate wiring in the same trench as mainline or lateral lines. Attach wire to underneath of pipe using electrical/duct tape or run wire through 3/4" PVC as conduit.
2- It is most common to use the white wire as the common wire.
3- Connect the lines to the valves before connecting the transformer lines.
4- Always add expansion coils or loops in the electrical lines, and also add a foot of wire when you make a turn.

3M DBY
1- Twist wire nut on
2- Open cap on vial
3- Insert wire nut and wire into vial (all the way to the end)
4- Spread wire into notches
5- Close cap on vial

Rain Bird ST-3
1- Insert wire into bottom of dri-connector
2- Twist wires together
3- Slide sleeve on wire and crimp
4- Fill dri-connector with PT-5S sealer
5- Insert cap
6- Wipe off any excess sealer

Richdel Gel-tite
1- Twist wires together
2- Slide on sleeve and crimp
3- Spread wires
4- Snap Gel-tites together

King Tech One-step
1- Insert wires
2- Twist on the one-step (the one-step is a wire nut with a silicone gel filled chamber which makes for tight and water-proof connection)

*Always use a water-proof connector to hook-up your irrigation system's electrical lines.
